Like every sector being affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are experiencing a drastic change in the sport world. We have seen the postponement or cancellation of sport programs and events, and there remains high levels of uncertainty about returning to sport and play. As an Indigenous youth athlete, you know how much sport means to you – and how tough it has been having so many of your plans postponed or cancelled.
This webinar will provide an opportunity for athletes to understand more about how to maintain motivation and to build coping strategies and perspectives during these challenging times. There are many limitations during this time of uncertainty: but there is also opportunity.
