PacificSport VI is pleased to announce our four recipients of our 2022 bursaries, continuing with Emmy Lan!

Emmy has been awarded one of two PacificSport VI High Performance Bursaries for 2022. The Comox-raised cyclist had a successful 2021 season highlighted by Canadian national titles in the Downhill and Enduro competition as well as a selection to the Cycling CanadaJunior DH Project in Europe. Emmy is not only a dedicated athlete but also a passionate leader in the cycling community where she seeks opportunities to give back to the sport and inspire future generations of young riders.

In 2021 she founded “Connecting Sister Shredders”, a new annual cycling event for girls 8-12 years old that taught the foundations of mountain biking in a fun and safe environment.

Emmy represents Trail Bicycles of Courtenay, BC and Norco Bicycles, and will be competing on the world-stage once again in 2022 at both DH World Cup and Enduro World Series events in Europe and the USA. She will also seek to repeat as Canadian national champion in both DH and Enduro.

We are very pleased to award this $500 bursary to Emmy and can’t wait to follow along with her 2022 season and successes!
