PacificSport VI is pleased to announce our four recipients of our 2022 bursaries, continuing with Arthur Miller!
Arthur has been awarded one of two PacificSport VI High Potential Bursaries for 2022.
The Parksville-raised lacrosse player is a dedicated collegiate athlete, playing Division 1 lacrosse for New Jersey’s NJIT Highlanders. He started 9 of 13 appearances and scoring 10 goals in the Highlanders’ 2022 season.
In 2021 Arthur represented Team Canada at the IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championships, marking his first selection to a national roster. Arthur is thankful the opportunities that the sport of lacrosse has given him, including travelling across North America, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures.
Arthur returns to Parksville this summer where he will captain the Nanaimo Timbermen Junior A squad in his final junior season before graduating to the senior level in 2023.
We are very pleased to award this $500 bursary to Arthur and can’t wait to follow along with his successes next season.
