JR Wheelchair Athletics Try It Day!

The PacificSport Jr Wheelchair Sports Program is excited to invite all Junior Wheelchair athletes from Vancouver Island communities to participate in a practice at the Nanaimo Rotary Bowl with special guest coach Navarra Houldin! The event will include the opportunity to use sprint wheelchairs provided by BC Wheelchair Sports. Lunch will be provided so please inform us of any dietary restrictions.
Participants will have the opportunity to try races, relays, shotput and softball throw.
Additional Try it day info:
- Ages 8-20
- No experience necessary, participants will need to self propel a manual wheelchair
- Sports wheelchairs are provided
- Participants can bring a friend or family member to join in
- Registration required
