Jr Wheelchair Basketball in Nanaimo

The Pacificsport Jr Wheelchair Sports Program is excited to invite all wheelchair users and community members between the age age 11-20 to join us for a fantastic opportunity to learn the basics of Wheelchair Basketball.
Learn new skills and improve on known skills by spending 4 weeks working on shooting, dribbling, maneuvering and working as a team!
At the end of the 4 week session we will invite all Junior Wheelchair Sport athletes from Vancouver Island communities to participate in a basketball game at Oliver woods, where we will be joined by special guests from BC Wheelchair Basketball and enjoy a pizza lunch.
Additional session info:
- Ages 11-20
- No experience necessary, participants will need to self propel a manual wheelchair
- Sports wheelchairs are provided
- Participants can bring a friend or family member to join in
- Registration required
