Jr Wheelchair Basketball Try It Day!

The Pacificsport Jr Wheelchair Sports Program is excited to invite all Junior Wheelchair athletes and community members (age 11-20) from Vancouver Island communities to participate in a practice at Oliver Woods with special guest coaches from BC Wheelchair Basketball.

Participants will be given a lesson on the basic skills and concepts of wheelchair basketball and participate in a modified game to put those new skills to use! After the game we will all enjoy a well earned pizza lunch.

Additional Try it day info:

• Ages 11-20

• No experience necessary, participants will need to self propel a manual wheelchair

• Sports wheelchairs are provided

• Participants can bring a friend or family member to join in

• Pizza lunch will be provided
