Learn2Ride Bike Camp

August 2-5, 2022 | Beginner Level

9:00am – 12:00pm | Tuesday-Friday | Ages 6-10 (No Camp Monday due to STAT)

$128/Week

$108/Week ASSAI (please email Catharine Edwards at cedwards@pacificsport.com to receive this discount if your child was an ASSAI member during the 2021-22 school year).

Camp Details

Join us this summer for Learn2Ride Bike Camp! Kids will learn the fundamentals of biking in a social and energized environment while exploring some of our local parks, trails, playgrounds and bike parks. Campers will learn bike hand signals, road safety, bike handling skills and build their confidence in a safe and comfortable environment. We will be playing games, doing obstacle courses and exploring daily with many fun activities. Learn2Ride Bike Camp participants must be between the ages of 6-10.

Parent pick up and drop off at the PacificSport VI Tent at the uncovered lacrosse box at Harewood Centennial Park between 8:30am and 9:00am each day. Pick up is at 12:00pm.

Campers may ride home on their own with signed parent permission submitted before camp starts.

Learn2Ride Bike Camp Competency Requirements                                                                                        

All bikers must be able to ride their bike without the support of someone else.  New bikers who cannot peddle on their own are not eligible for this camps.  Staff are unable to do any “hands on” coaching so we are unable to accept first time riders at this time.

If you answer yes to any of the following statements this Bike Camp is for you.

My child can ride a bike but…..

Is a little anxious while riding their bike on trails or the road

Has very little or no experience riding on the road or trails

Is unsure about riding for long distances

May ride a strider bike or have training wheels on their bike

Please contact Catharine at cedwards@pacificsport.com if you require a bike to be able to participate. Please provide your child’s height and weight in your email and we will try to source once for your child to use.
