Registered Coach Services
The Canadian Sport Institue (CSI) , in partnership with the national network of Canadian Sport Centre and the British Columbia network of PacificSport Centres, delivers sport performance programs and sevices to provide athletes and coaching living in BC with every advantage to win medals for Canada.
Through community partnerships with local businesses, municipalities, and organizations, Registered Athletes receive access to a variety of programs and services, including GymWorks, FoodStuff, Sportheath, and MoreStuff partners and opportunities.

Canadian Sport Institute Pacific and PacificSport Vancouver Island recognize that every athlete deserves the support of a qualified coach. We work closely with national and provincial sport partners to ensure that coach eligibility and the related criteria is clear. Find below the details of coach eligibility.

PacificSport Vancouver Island registers performance coaches who have met the criteria stated below:
NOTE: Coaches must be the technical coaches in the sport and reside in the region of the PacificSport Centre. For exemptions to these criteria, please contact Athlete & Coach Services Manager, Kevin Lindo, and note that criteria are subject to change.

The programs and services provided to Registered Athletes & Coaches are aimed at covering many aspects of life, both inside and outside sport.
PacificSport Vancouver Island curates these partnerships based on holistic development and athlete needs. We offer partners in the following areas:
- GymWorks: Access to our network of local fitness facilities, health clubs, and community centers offering access to strength and conditioning programs and equipment.
- SportHealth: Discounts at sport medicine practitioners who provide medical treatment, rehabilitations services, and/or medical monitoring.
- FoodStuff: Discounts at food retail stores and restaurants to help fuel athletes.
- MoreStuff: Discounts at leading retail stores, distributors, or lodging/accommodations.
