- Programs Manager
Kailynd (she/her) is PacificSport VI’S Programs Manager. She oversees both the community programs and the After School Sports and Arts Initiative (ASSAI). Kailynd works closely with the School District 68 (Nanaimo/Ladysmith) and various external partners and organizations to provide sports and arts opportunities to children and youth in both after-school and community programs.
Kailynd previously worked at PacificSport Vi as a Sport Leader and has a history of playing sports recreationally throughout her childhood. Mainly focusing on soccer and karate. Her passion is providing inclusive and adaptable sport opportunities to all participants.
Kailynd holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Vancouver Island University, a certification in concussion prevention, detection and management, as well as a certification in disability management. When she’s not in the office, you can find Kailynd camping with her children and dog.
