Tony is a life-long athlete and two-time Canadian Paralympian who has excelled on the international stage in two seperate sports: triathlon and rowing. Born and raised in Victoria, BC Tony graduated from the University of Idaho with a BS in Recreation Administration following a collegiate track and field/cross country career with the Vandals.

Some of Tony’s athletic highlights include Completing in 6 Ironman Triathlons, including the top Canadian finish at the 1991 World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, competing in 10 World Championships, two Paralympics (Beijing & London), being named to the Canadian National Rowing Team from 2006-2013, and was a participant in the very first BC Summer Games and BC Winter Games in 1978 and 1979. 

Tony has also been involved in sport through coaching from 1983-2016, leading young swimmers at various youth clubs, a University, and internationally in American and Australia. In his life away from sport Tony has been a Stained Glass crafter since the early 1990’s and calls Sproat Lake home, enjoying swiming in the Summer and rowing the lake year-round.
